Wishes Tag Book

Welcome back!
Here is a tag book that I created using Manila tags
(found at office supply stores)
and Simple Stories "Happy Day" line.

So easy using the 6 x 6 pad because it comes with sheets that can be cut to just the right size!
Wishing you a happy day!
Tomorrow I'll share some cards made with the same line.

Happy Birthday MemoryWorks Blog Hop

Today is the day!
Thanks for joining me and the MemoryWorks TeamWorks members
as we celebrate the 10th birthday of MemoryWorks!

Here's a little party ensemble that I created using the
Simple Stories "Happy Day" collection.
I just love that it is appropriate for any age or gender.
The colors are bright, yet it goes great with one of my favorite craft staples, Kraft.
Here is a closer look at the gift bags and tag.

"HAPPY" sentiment from My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart collection
For the treat favor, I slipped a pre-wrapped cookie into a glassine bag and made a header for it using some
patterned paper, journaling piece cut from 6 x 6 pad, and a sticker.
I LOVE the quality of Simple Stories stickers.
Now hop on over to the last stop on the hop
If you missed it you might want to hop on over to the
MemoryWorks blog to check the master list and details of the hop so you don't miss a thing!
Thanks for joining us in this fun celebration!
If you come back,
I'll share a close-up of the "wishes" tag book and some cards
made with the "Happy Day" line.
Hope you have a Happy Day!

It's All Good!

It is summer and
it's all good!
This page has combined some element pieces and parts of patterned paper.
The little accents are stickers,
all from Simple Stories "Summer Fresh" line.

Stamps at the bottom are from My Mind's Eye
Follow Your Heart "Be Happy" collection.

Summer is truly delightful!
Here is another layout that I made for my Summer 2012 album.
The bottom piece is trimmed from one of the element pages and I made it into a pocket.

The little journaling card that says "delightful" can be removed to journal on.
All supplies:  Simple Stories "Summer Fresh".

Now I have to go take some pics to scrap.

There is a monthly challenge going on at the MemoryWorks Studio.
That's where consultants get together to share ideas.
Our challenge is to use this sketch...
We are supposed to create with a birthday theme,
but I chose to use a summer theme since I am starting a summer 2012
All patterned paper and sticker elements are from the
Simple Stories "Summer Fresh" collection.
Thanks for visiting.
I'll share more summer pages throughout the week.

Happy Birthday MemoryWorks!

MemoryWorks turns 10 this year!
The consultants and design team are having some fun challenges at the MW Studio.
This week we were challenged to design a card using a sketch from PageMaps.
Here is my take on the sketch...
I used Echo Park "Graceful" line along
with Petaloo tiny pearl daisies.
Just love those little flowers.

Summer Thanks

You know how much I love using Kraft so this
line by Pebbles was right up my alley.
I love the cardstock sheets that are printed with polka dots and flowers.
I added Dimensional Stickers and
Masking Tape stickers.
If you haven't checked out this Country Picnic" line I suggest you give it a chance.
It looks much prettier in real life than int he catalog,
I'm just sayin'.

Country Picnic

Another card with the adorable Pebbles "Country Picnic" line.
I just couldn't bare to put the scraps in my basket, I had to use them all up!
The sentiment is a dimensional sticker.
The little floral piece is a sticker that resembles washi tape.
(cardstock from my stash)
Wishing you a picnic-kind of day!

Lily Bee Love

Lily Bee has become one of my favorite brands
carried by MemoryWorks.
Here are a few projects that I created using the
"Buttercup" line.

I like the journaling cards for the obvious use of journaling,
but that make for super cute, quick and easy cards with no stamping required.
I also used the coordinating cardstock stickers, another fave from Lily Bee.
I am linking this post to their blog HERE.
Check it our for some amazing Lily Bee inspiration!

hello there

Another card using Pebbles "Country Picnic".
I love the Kraft doilies, not sure where they are from but MW sent them to me with my May inspiration box of goodies.
I also love the dimensional flowers with this Pebbles line.
Looks like I made it myself but it's as easy as applying a sticker!

Welcome to my new blog where I will be sharing
My Memory Works Creations.
Here is a little card that I made for the MemoryWorks
May Inspiration section of the MW site.
The cardstock and all the elements are from
Pebbles "Country Picnic" line.
I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz "Picket Fence" distress ink.
Love that stuff!
Thanks for the visit!
